In the public space, who is the recipient? Is communication in the public space a reflection of the public? If so, first we are consumers then we are citizens in a community. Statements in the public space are dominated by a one-way communication from commercial interests, where we have no choice. Images in the public space are references to artificially created needs and relations. Only representations remain, with no meaning that we can relate to directly. The public space belongs to whom?
